CPD provides customized training and education programs for industry, government, military, and nonprofit organizations. For example, United Technologies Corporation (UTC) is working with the CPD to offer a Master of Engineering in Manufacturing and a Graduate Certificate in Lean and Six Sigma. Regularly scheduled University of Michigan Engineering courses are delivered to the workplace or online, enabling students to enroll in the program part-time, while continuing education through distance learning.
